Made to honor the Town's Patron Saint, Sant Bartomeu the event takes place for a week between the 21st and 27th of August and is one of the two biggest celebrations of the year where fans come in droves from all over the region to look or participate in the Fiesta. Getting there by Train: Come arrivare in treno:
There are four Rodalies trains an hour (from 06:13 to 22:13) and the journey on line C takes just over a half an hour from Barcelona 's Passieg de Gràcia or Sants station. Great pictures … but the “Festa Major” giant looks like the king in “Burger King”. Grandi immagini ... ma il "gigante Festa Major appare come il re" Burger King ". I had to look more closely to make sure he wasn't handing out whopper coupons. Ho dovuto guardare più da vicino per assicurarsi che non era a distribuire coupon Whopper. Looks like a good time though … the beach appears to be a very social scene. Sembra un buon momento ... anche se la spiaggia sembra essere una scena molto sociale.
